We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services and solutions to our clients, and we are currently seeking a skilled Equipment Operator with expertise in excavation, grading, and underground utilities to join our team.
As an Equipment Operator specializing in excavation, grading, and underground utilities, you will play a crucial role in our operations by efficiently and safely operating a variety of heavy equipment.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating excavators, skid steers, loaders, and bulldozers to perform excavation, grading, trenching, and other earthmoving tasks.
- Safely and effectively maneuvering equipment in tight spaces, around obstacles, and in varying soil conditions.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Working closely with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Participating in prejob meetings and briefings to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Equipment Operator with a focus on excavation, grading, and underground utilities.
- Proficiency in operating excavators, skid steers, loaders, and bulldozers. Experience with additional heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of excavation techniques, grading principles, and underground utility installation.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent handeye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL Class A Preferred)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour
