Washington Central Unified Union School District is seeking a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic educator with proven leadership skills to join a collaborative administrative team as an Assistant Principal, with a focus on curriculum and professional development.

Responsibilities include student management, curriculum, and supervision and evaluation of teachers.

U-32s Administrative Team consists of the Principal, two Assistant Principals, and Directors of Special Services & Programs, Student Services, and Student Affairs.

The 720 student, 7-12 school is located on a beautiful 166 acre hilltop campus in Central Vermont. U-32 is a student-centered school with an outstanding reputation in academics, the arts and athletics.


The successful candidate must demonstrate:

A commitment to success for all students; Instructional leadership in the area of proficiency-based learning; The ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, community, School Board and Administrative Team members; Background and experience in staff supervision and evaluation, staff development, proficiency-based curriculum, instruction and assessment, student relationships and community engagement.
