Description

Finzer Roller is looking for a Plant Manager for our recently renovated headquarters in Itasca, IL. The Plant Manager plans, directs, and coordinates all plant operations and production goals for our $14 million manufacturing operation.

Finzer Roller offers $110,000 - $140,000, bonus potential, medical, dental, vision, life, 401k + match, PTO.

Specific responsibilities include:

Leads Company efforts to implement and support best safety practices. Ensures a clean, safe work environment.
Plans and oversees workflow such that products are manufactured within delivery expectations.
Manages quality, productivity, and profitability. Reviews financial statements, sales reports, and other data to measure and ensure consistent, sustainable performance.
Identifies opportunities and implements changes to improve quality and efficiency.
Works closely with sales representatives and/or customers to provide information or to resolve customer issues. Prepares quotes for new cores and special projects.
Oversees inventory of rubber compounds and production supplies to meet production demands.
Manages staff of approximately 50 employees, prepares work schedules and hours, and assigns specific duties. Fosters a welltrained and motivated staff.
Works closely with General Regional Manager and Director of Manufacturing to establish plant goals and to implement action plants.
Assists with plant budget preparation. Administers control of all cost centers within budgetary guidelines and financial operating plans.
10+ years in manufacturing management. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience working with machinery or strong mechanical aptitude.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and using an ERP system, preferably Epicor.
Able to coach, mentor, and lead a cohesive team.
Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Strong work ethic with a commitment to the team's success.
