Accounts Receivable Specialist - Tampa, United States - Royce Bravo Security and Access Control

Description

• Contact delinquent customers to collect past due balances and maintain A/R aging schedules
• Maintain collection percentages, AR over 30 days and bad debt levels as required by management
• Provide customer service regarding account and collection issues
• Assist customers with account reconciliation questions and discrepancies as needed
• Work with and assist in processing customer/vendor packets
• Process and provide necessary information as requested by customer (COI's, W9's, lien releases, etc.)
• Call customers as necessary to verify accuracy of accounts and coordinates changes where necessary to expedite collection activity
• Contact customers and resolve short payments/remittance questions
• Provide customer statements monthly and other times as needed
• Review and coordinate account adjustments, credit memos, and small balance writeoffs
• Accountable for reducing delinquency for past due balances
• Work with Sales Dept. to ensure that job payments are managed efficiently.
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with all other Departments
• Input vendor invoices in coordination with the purchasing department
• Reconcile vendor balances with statement
• Answer phone inquiries and log customer service calls into ESC
• Meet or exceed established goals
• Other duties deemed appropriate and assigned by management

• Bilingual is a plus
