:
Ensure that all trucks both incoming and outgoing are loaded or unloaded according to the paperwork. Also, employees are required to make sure all necessary paperwork is filled out properly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Make sure truck wheels are chocked.
  • Double check driver's paperwork compared to issued paperwork.
  • Fill out the incoming or outgoing log depending on instructions.
  • Check truck for cleanliness, odors, condition, etc. record on log.
  • For flour loads
- make sure driver is hooked up to correct silo.

  • Handle customer pickups and the shipping door.
  • Second shift shipper
- load local trucks according to loader sheet for the next day deliveries.

  • Night shift shipper/ receiver fill out finished goods inventory daily.

COMPETENCIES:


To perform this job successfully, the Shipper/ Receiver must be self-motivated, able to problem solve, detail-oriented, and able to stay on task.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent in all forms of communication.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Forklift Training (Company Supplied)
  • Required
  • Forklift Handling Experience
  • Preferred




HOURS:
6:00am-2:30pm
