- The media prep technician is responsible for preparing media for the sample prep team. These samples will then be processed for pathogen testing as requested by client. Example testing includes but is not limited to: Food poisoning, pH, and bacterial testing.
- Recording samples for weight, time, and media used.
- Set up equipment and materials needed for analysis.
- Involved in handling an Autoclave.
- Will be washing and filling racks with sterile tubes.
- Responsible for labeling and storing samples.
- High School Diploma
- 1+ years experience in GMP, food service or fast paced collaborative work environment.
- Time management/planning skills - this person must be able to prioritize samples and tasks effectively in a fast environment. (Verify
