    About the Company

    Express is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for a renowned Medical Device company based in Kalamazoo. This company boasts a strong leadership team and an exceptional company culture that fosters growth and development.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct feasibility studies to assess product cost, capacity, and capability requirements.
    • Collaborate with various departments to recommend process and procedure enhancements.
    • Oversee diverse processing applications like machining, finishing, cleaning, heat treating, and bonding.
    • Manage and enhance technical documents such as prints, procedures, BOMs, and routers.
    • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and offer training when needed.
    • Gain expertise in lean manufacturing, problem-solving techniques, and actively participate in Kaizen events.
    • Utilize CAD software to design and modify process fixtures.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
    • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
    • Prior exposure to working in a regulated environment.
    • Familiarity with statistical analysis software like Minitab.
    • Proficiency in 3-D CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks.
