    Job Description

    Milestone Realty, a rapidly growing Pittsburgh-based company offering residential property management services, is seeking to expand our maintenance team with new hires. We are looking for organized, positive, proactive individuals with a keen attention to detail and a goal-oriented mindset, who are ready for a stable position with outstanding benefits.     Employees of Milestone Realty benefit from a stable ownership team that provides excellent compensation and logical business processes. Team members will be responsible for property turnovers and routine general maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:

    Painting

    General Repairs

    Lock Changes

    Routine and Emergency Maintenance

    Property Improvements (kitchen and bathroom updates, flooring replacement)

    Inspections

    Workdays are 5, 8 hour shifts or 4, 10 hour shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM with flexibility and will include occasional mandatory rotation for on-call emergency maintenance one week per month. Time and a half is paid during those times (double time for Holidays).

    Experienced candidates will have the opportunity to move into supervisory positions and may be eligible for a company vehicle.

    The ideal candidate possesses some or all of the following skills, along with a strong interest in learning new techniques:

    Interior Finish

    Painting & Prep

    Drywall Installation and Finish

    Interior Trim Work

    Kitchen Design

    Cabinet & Countertop Installation

    Basic Residential Wiring and Electric

    Basic Residential Plumbing

    Diagnosis and Remediation of Moisture Infiltration (e.g., gutter overflows, grading, etc.)

    Exterior Finish ability

    Residential Masonry Knowledge

    Roofing Repairs

    Wall Framing

    Basic computer and handheld device skills are mandatory. Technicians must be available for one week of "on-call" duty every month. Overtime is available. Candidates must initially use their own vehicle; however, we reimburse for mileage. After 6 months, you will be eligible for a company vehicle with gas and repairs covered by the company.

    Milestone Realty is a small, local property management company specializing in scattered-site single-family and multi-family residential rental housing. We take pride in our efficiency, customer service, promptness, and team-working environment. Currently, we manage around 260 rental units in and around the City of Pittsburgh.
