Westgate Historic Williamsburg Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia, provides spacious, period-specific accommodations just 0.5 mile from Colonial Williamsburg allowing you the incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in American history while helping guests experience an amazing vacation getaway. In addition to providing easy access to Colonial Williamsburg, Westgate Historic Williamsburg Resort is located near Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA.
**Job Description**
**As a Front Desk Agent, you will:**
Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
Issue room key and escort instructions to Bellhop.
Date stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages.
Transmit and receivs telephone messages.
Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts.
Compute bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
Make and confirm reservations.
Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to ledger.
Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservation, and arranges for tours.
Assist guests with deposit of guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box.
Nightly bucket checks
Able to listen and find solutions to guests problems

**Education and/or Experience**
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Language Skills**
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization.
