About us
Manage Meds is a privately owned consultant pharmacist company based in Texas. We provide consultant pharmacist services to skilled nursing facilities, assisted livings and group homes.

Manage Meds is looking for licensed pharmacy technicians to conduct routine medication storage audits at long term care facilities, and/or assisted living facilities.

The facilities for this position are located in the Beaumont/Houston area with the majority located in and around Beaumont. Each assigned facility would be scheduled for a technician visit on a monthly or quarterly rotation. Some travel is required by all pharmacists and technicians who work for our company. For example, some nursing homes could be up to 2 hours away, so a reliable car is necessary. Travel time is paid for facilities that are located 30+ minutes from your house. Currently, we have an opening for part time - full time work (2-3 days per week)


Job responsibilities include:

• Reviewing current medication lists (orders) and comparing to medications dispensed to the facility by a specialty LTC pharmacy.
• Identifying missing medications. Identifying discontinued medications that need to be removed from storage. Identifying medications stored incorrectly.
• Review findings with nursing staff, nurse manager(s), and provide them education and a written report.
• Independent scheduling of visiting facilities on a monthly or quarterly basis
• There are no dispensing responsibilities with this position.

Applicants must have a valid pharmacy technician license in the state of Texas, proof of COVID vaccination, reliable car and be able to provide your own laptop (microsoft excel).
