JOB SUMMARY
Greet all guests in a friendly and inviting manner to create an enjoyable dining experience for all guests.

This position involves the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment-taking food and beverage orders accurately and delivering all orders in a timely manner in addition to various in-house duties and collecting the bill.

Must be able to explain all menu items, food, and beverage, and follow all applicable food and liquor rules and regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet all guests promptly and guides guests to tables or bar
• Takes bar and/or food orders promptly, maintains good knowledge of the menu and any special information or changes in the menu. Submits all orders in a timely manner
• Helps prepare orders for table service or togo delivery
• Communicates with bar and kitchen staff to ensure prompt and accurate service to guests
• Maintain cleanliness of all service areas during your shift
• Be aware of each guests needs, maintain cleanliness of all service areas and tables
• Assist in set up and breakdown of service areas and dining room
• Assist in stocking and cleaning of all service areas, kitchen, bar, and dining
• Responsible for guest orders and checks, completing all transactions promptly and correctly and reconciling cash and credit charges and your bank at the beginning and end of each shift
• Follow all applicable food and liquor rules and regulations

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be available during your scheduled shift to help other departments during peak demand hours or in instances of staff shortages in other departments.
