    Description

    Demand Planning Manager at Newell Brands

    This position is responsible for overseeing demand planning activities for a key customer, Amazon, to ensure a reliable forecast for supply planning. Collaboration with sales and Amazon support teams is crucial for achieving service and inventory availability objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create and maintain forecasting models for accurate forecasts.
    • Lead the forecast collaboration to align forecasts.
    • Assess risks and develop countermeasures for resolution.
    • Understand key business drivers for growth opportunities.
    • Present the demand plan during S&OP meetings.
    • Drive cross-functional projects for business process improvements.
    • Mentor team members and identify areas for enhancement.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum 7 years' experience in supply chain roles.
    • CPG or business-to-business supplier experience.
    • Technical knowledge of forecasting systems, preferably SAP IBP.
    • Ability to process data, influence cross-functional alignment, and communicate effectively.

    Additional Skills:

    • Proficiency with Excel, Access, and forecasting systems.
    • Results-oriented with strong work ethic.
    • Occasional travel may be required.
