    Aegis Worldwide is partnering with a great manufacturer and looking for a Quality Manager This is a Day Shift, Direct Hire opportunity, with competitive pay and benefits package If you are interested, please apply.

    A prominent Aerospace & Automotivecompany in Macomb County, MI is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their team.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Formulates and maintains quality objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.

    Interprets quality philosophy to key personnel in organization.

    Utilizes Key Performance Indicators to effectively track, monitor, and implement required

    corrective/improvement

    activities related to business plan, goals, issues, etc.

    Manages and drives the

    Corrective/Preventive

    Action process.

    Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.

    Plans and oversees the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.

    Performs reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.

    Represents the company during customer visits and surveys, and during meetings and presentations at the customer's location.


    Reviews all data obtained during all quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.


    Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.

    Prepares and presents technical and program information to the management team.

    Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.

    Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards.

    Designs and implements quality training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers.


    Qualifications:
    At least 5+ years ofexperience in a Quality Manager role within the prototype manufacturing industry.

    In-depth knowledge of prototype manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.

    Proven expertise in quality assurance and control processes, with a focus on meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to make informed decisions and improvements.

    Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and certifications such as ISO 9001 is a plus.

    Proficiency in using quality tools and software for data analysis and reporting.
