Your tasks:

  • Project management for the planning and construction of water engineering structures, with a focus on flood protection systems and port construction
  • National and EU-wide procurement of engineering and construction services
  • Financial planning, schedule and cost control
  • Negotiations with authorities, engineering firms, construction companies and other project stakeholders
  • Public relations, organizing citizen information events and presenting projects in political committees
  • Acting as the client in accordance with construction site regulations for each project

    • Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in planning, construction management or project management in the field of water engineering
  • Experience in preparing and accompanying approval procedures is desirable
  • Good knowledge of construction and procurement law, especially HOAI and VOB
  • Ability to think across disciplines and organizations, negotiation skills, assertiveness, strong communication skills and teamwork
  • Possession of an unrestricted driver's license for class 3/EU standard B
