The
Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a
Clinician I/II to join our
CSU Team.
Under general supervision, the successful candidate will perform intermediate professional work providing direct clinical service to clients involving intake, assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, providing prevention services , managing cases, providing therapy, maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Program Manager in our 16 bed state licensed facility specializing in crisis stabilization and hospital diversion for mentally ill adults.
The facility is located in our main building the in the City of Richmond.Essential Functions:
Performs triage of referrals, intakes, client assessments and diagnostic interviews; conducts mental health and substance use disorder assessments and monitors level of functioning.
Assists client in identifying self-determined goals and jointly prepare individualized service plan.
Develops and facilitates psycho-educational groups; provides individual, family and group counseling; implements treatment plans; coordinates daily treatment schedule.
Coordinates case management services; coordinates and links client to community resources and medical services; interfaces with other service providers and client support system.
Provides consultation, education and prevention services.
Documents and charts information about client assessment, individual service plans, progress notes, crisis education prevention plan,discharge summaries and other client related data, correspondence, medical records, etc; prepares and submits reports as required.
Attends professional conferences and trainings as required.
Provides direct shift supervision of direct care staff in absence of CSU supervisors and Manager.
Provides on callsupport 1 week per month.
Provides weekend coverage 1 weekend per month.
Works half of agency observed holidays.
Other duties as assigned.
Shifts: 930am-6pm and 1130a- 430pm
Position Requirements
Required:
Minimum requirements are a Master's degree in social work, psychology, nursing, or related field from an accredited college with a least one year experience working with the seriously mentally ill.
Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
LMHP status Required
Qualifying staff will be eligible for a $4K sign-on bonus as defined by the terms and conditions of the approved sign-on bonus policy.

Starting Salary Range
Clinician I $58, LMHP-E, Clinician II $63, LCSW, LPC, LCP. Advertised rate includes 6.25% diff. which is offered to essential staff.
