    We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team You will be responsible for the design and development of intelligent systems and industrial systems control.


    Key Responsibilities:


    As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Derbyshire Machine & Tool Company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and safety of our cutting-edge defense systems.

    Conduct thorough quality assessments, inspections, and audits throughout the production lifecycle.

    Identify areas for process improvement while working on continuous enhancement initiatives.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement effective quality control processes.

    Analyze and interpret technical specifications and blueprints to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

    Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

    Participate in design reviews to provide insights on manufacturability and quality requirements.

    Review work orders, routers, and prepare for release.

    Approve Derbyshire Machine & Tool purchase orders for technical accuracy.

    Document all technical procedures and user guides.


    Qualifications:
    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer who possesses:

    A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field - Advanced degrees are a plus.

    Experience in quality engineering within the defense industry or a related field.

    Proficiency in quality management tools, statistical analysis, and root cause analysis techniques.

    Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations within the defense sector.

    Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

    Familiarity with CAD or other related software.

    Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma, ISO) are a significant advantage.

    Deadline and detail-oriented.

    We will train in all areas.
