Job Title:
Task Order Manager/Business & Financial Operations Specialist


Job Summary:

The Task Order Manager will act as the single point of contact (POC) for organizational task management.

This role involves tracking all tasks under each capability and requirements analysis, managing the progress of contractor performance on all tasks, and ensuring the provision of quality and timely deliverables required under the Task Order and the Statement of Work (SOW).


Responsibilities Include:


  • Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive Project Management Plan (PMP) to drive effective task management strategies and methodologies.
  • Collaborative Communication: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), ensuring alignment with program objectives.
  • Technical Excellence: Provide expert technical direction and oversight to deliver highquality and timely deliverables in line with project requirements.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Act as a mentor and leader, offering guidance and support to junior staff for their professional growth.
  • Learning Opportunities: Embrace continuous learning and skill development within a dynamic government environment, leveraging exposure to cuttingedge technologies.
  • Adaptability and Innovation: Demonstrate adaptability and innovation in addressing challenges and exploring opportunities for process improvement.
  • Monthly Progress Reviews: Conduct regular progress reviews with the COR to provide updates on milestones, performance metrics, and emerging issues.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly status reports, highlighting accomplishments and challenges with recommended solutions.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop detailed project plans and execute tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Contract Management: Oversee all aspects of contract management, including budget reviews, staffing requirements, and coordination with subcontractors.

Required Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • 8+ years of experience in managing and executing complex or technical efforts
  • Experience providing advice and counsel to both government and support staff
  • At least 5 years' experience providing direct supervision of support staff's execution of job functions related the execution of the complex or technical efforts
  • Demonstrated capability to lead execution of multiple projects that involve the successful management of teams composed of technical and nontechnical staff who have been involved in analysis, design, development, integration, training, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining solutions or technical tasks

Desired:


  • Master's degree
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • 10+ years of experience in managing and executing complex or technical efforts

Work Setting and Environment:


  • Monday
  • Friday, normal working hours
  • Work is to be performed remotely
  • Must be able to report onsite in the DC area for meetings
