Description:
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Terminal Operator safely operates all equipment at the location used to load and unload rail cars and trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE.
Exercise and encourage core values including but not limited to; developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment
Maintain grounds, offices, yard, etc.
Carry out tasks related to loading/unloading material, bulk for rail and road methods of transportation, as appropriate for the specific location.
Understand and operate truck loading and transfer equipment.
Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanical maintenance.
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
Education: High School diploma/GED
Preferred Work Experience: 1-3 years
Licenses Preferred: Valid Drivers License
Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft Office and SAP
Additional Requirements:
Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance.
