Description

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our business, including staff supervision, financial management, and customer satisfaction.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives
• Oversee daytoday operations and ensure efficient workflow
• Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Work closely with Sales Manager, Lab Manager, Greenhouse Manager, & Onsite Administration
• Monitor financial performance and prepare budgets and cost analyses
• Plan and oversee capital projects
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Order tissue culture micros from offshore lab suppliers
• Attend the three plant shows that the Company has a booth in every year

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team**:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in data collection and analysis
• Knowledge of hand tools and mechanical equipment
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, gardening, greenhouse operations, and farming practices
• Basic math and Excel skills for budgeting and financial analysis
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
