    Job Description

    Job DescriptionCompany in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area is in need of a mechanic who would be learning to operate, maintain, and repair equipment.

    Candidate requirements:
    • Mechanical experience, specifically experience working on heavy equipment including mini excavator, bobcat, small dredge, etc.
    • Mechanical inclination in general
    • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
    • Reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
    • Analytical and use of logic to address work-related issues and problems.
    • Willingness to take directions and follow instructions from supervisors.
    • Curiosity and interest in learning new skills.
    • Ability and preference to work outdoors.


    Job Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Operating, maintaining, and repairing machinery
    • Lubricating and adjusting mechanical equipment
    • Performing routine inspections and mechanical repairs
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions
    • Accomplish medium to heavy repairs with some supervision
    • Perform routine maintenance, complete repairs, and test equipment as needed
    • Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
    • Follow all company and work site safety policies and procedures
