Primo Produce, Inc. has an immediate opening for a
full-time day-shift,
entry level
QA Technician in the _
fresh produce processing department_.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, start 500am (overtime required per business needs)._

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Quality check raw, processed and finished product
Check metal detectors hourly and with product change over
Startup chemical level checks, room temperature checks
Verify cleaning and sanitation, ATP swabs
Perform preop inspections before start of shift
Daily scale verification and QC end of day checklist
Assist in preparing food samples and shelf life studies
Manage environmental monitoring of swab samples, monthly
Assist with training employees on the food safety program
Enforce strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
Accurate maintenance of record keeping and documentation
Manage corrective actions for all shift processes
Identify issues and immediately communicate with shift Supervisor
Other job duties as assigned
High school diploma/ GED preferred.
HACCP knowledge preferred.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be available for overtime.
Prior experience in a food environment is plus

Bilingual

English required/Spanish is a plus
Strong attention to detail required
Possess a positive attitude and work effectively in a team environment.
Must have good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in fastpaced, deadlineoriented environment.
