Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Developer (m/f/d) with expertise in PL/SQL to join our team at Bethalto as soon as possible.

Our company, WERTGARANTIE Group, has been growing since 1963 and now has over 1,200 employees. Our headquarters is located in the heart of Hannover, where our team of insurance and warranty experts work together.

We provide insurance for consumer electronics, household appliances, bicycles, e-bikes, e-scooters, hearing aids, and even smart home systems and house wiring.

Our mission is to repair instead of replace, promoting sustainability.

As part of the Core Systems CE team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our insurance policy system and related systems.

Your tasks will include consulting with our departments to gather requirements, independently developing solutions for policy management, fixing bugs, and working with your colleagues to improve our architecture and optimize our applications for efficiency and performance.

You will also be responsible for creating reports and participating in projects.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in computer science/business informatics or a similar field, strong knowledge of relational databases (especially Oracle 19c), the ability to quickly learn complex topics, and several years of experience in PL/SQL and SQL development.

Knowledge of structured software development and good English skills are also desirable.
