    Support Engineer Position at Our Tech Solutions Company

    The Support Engineer plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch customer service by troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining workstation and server systems, and optimizing network equipment. This position requires strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and a customer-centric approach.

    • Serve as the initial point of contact for customers requesting technical support via phone and ticketing system.
    • Conduct remote troubleshooting for tasks like Password Resets and New User Setups.
    • Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially in high-pressure situations.
    • Manage Windows workstations and servers, including software installations and updates.
    • Handle tasks such as anti-virus software management, email system maintenance, and network equipment setup.
    • Administer user accounts and permissions, ensuring data security and access control.
    • Collaborate with third-party vendors when necessary.
    • Create detailed documentation of client environments and issue resolutions.
    • Adhere to Service Level Agreements to meet customer expectations.
    • Deploy and replace Windows desktops and laptops, with a focus on system setup and software installation.
    • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, quick learning ability, and self-motivation.
    • Install and configure network equipment like switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
    • Work under mentorship to enhance skills and align with company values.

    Soft Skills & Requirements:

    • Precise attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proven problem-solving skills, with a solutions-focused mindset.
    • Multi-tasking capability and effective deadline management.
    • Demonstrated professionalism and adherence to instructions.
    • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in hardware support and Windows troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge of Windows Servers and Networking protocols.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • College Diploma or Degree in Computer Science.
    • Experience in collaborating with third-party vendors.
    • Certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or other relevant entities.
