Parts Release Associate - CATIA Expertise


Team:
Hardware Test Engineering


The Hardware Test Engineering team is responsible for developing test platforms for validating end-to-end functionality and characterizing the performance of sub-systems, including hardware, firmware, and software.


As a Parts Release Associate with expertise in CATIA, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting the parts release process from design validation to production.

This position requires a blend of technical proficiency in CATIA, an understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to work collaboratively to ensure that our designs meet stringent quality standards before they are released for manufacturing.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the management of the parts release process, working closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
  • Support the review and approval process for parts, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project teams to ensure seamless transitions of parts from design to production.
  • Identify and assist in resolving any issues within the parts release process, aiming for continuous process improvement.
  • Help maintain comprehensive process documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency in the parts release cycle.

Qualifications:


  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated skill in using CATIA, with direct 2+ years of experience in a design or manufacturing setting preferred.

  • Knowledge of parts release processes and a solid understanding of manufacturing and engineering principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic setting.

  • 8 hour shift
