About the Agency:
The Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) protects the public by preparing court-involved youth to be successful citizens.
DJJ is committed to excellence in public safety by providing effective interventions that improve the lives of youth, strengthening both families and communities within the Commonwealth.
About the Job:
The Behavior Analyst reports directly to the Behavior Analytic Administrator and provides behavioral support to meet the needs of youth and staff.
Provides support to division and agency initiatives related to programs, interventions, and strategies that promote positive behavioral changes for the organization.
As needed, provides ongoing training and support to staff who are utilizing behavioral interventions and strategies to ensure for the fidelity of programmatic implementation.
The Behavior Analyst will comply with Federal, State, and District Policies, BACB and VA BOM regulations, and/or other procedures.Per the needs of the facility, occasional evening and weekend coverage may be required.

Experience working with incarcerated youth preferred. Experience utilizing PBIS within a correction setting preferred.
