Medical Assistant Position And Job Functions

• Perform basic Medical Assistant tasks, including but not limited to, vital signs, medication/injection administration, documentation in EMR, phone triage, scheduling, prior authorizations, as well as other clerical office duties.
• Desire 12 years recent work experience in Medical Assistant or customer service role, new graduates are also welcomed
• Organized, selfmotivated individual who enjoys a busy paced office
• Rate is commensurate based on experience
• Must be a team player but can also work independently as needed

Other Qualifications

Education/Licenses/Certifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program preferred
• Current CPR Certification is a plus
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred, not required

This is a full-time, permanent role and applicant must be available during all operating hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (7:45AM-3:45PM), Thursday (8:45AM-4:45PM), and Friday from 7:45AM-12:00PM.
