The
Program Director for
Family Support and Training provides leadership to
Senior Family Partners and
Family Partners in the program.


The
Program Director works closely with the Program Director for
Intensive Care Coordination to implement policies, procedures, and training needs for Family Partners.

The
Program Director integrates caregiver perspective into practice with youth and families, the program, and agency standards.


Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the program with the following:

  • Performing administrative functions and direct services oversight for day-to-day operation of program and ongoing quality improvement.
  • Ensuring that the program adheres to regulations and requirements of licensing bodies and funding sources.
  • Maintaining communication with funding sources or other contacts, as appropriate.
  • Serving as primary liaison for FS&T with other BHN programs.
  • Collaborating with ICC Program Director to plan and convene CSA System of Care meetings.
  • Cofacilitating staff meetings with the ICC Program Director and participates in clinical supervisions.
  • Overseeing and managing the direct service work and productivity of Senior Family Partners and Family Partners.
  • Ensuring that all staff are appropriately trained and in compliance with ICC/FS&T operations, the Wraparound process, and relevant policies and procedures.
  • Working collaboratively with Senior Program Manager and Division VP to identify staffing needs, hire, discipline, and terminate program staff, as required.
  • Providing effective ongoing evaluation of staff performance and implements fidelity measures as required.
  • Responding to individual served/staff/provider complaints and mediates as needed.
  • Providing a Caregiver's perspective in agency service support structures.
  • Providing consultation and training to staff, program, and organization wide leadership regarding a caregiver's perspective and lessons learned from life experience.
  • Observing care planning teams to support team skill development and provide coaching to staff.
  • Participating in program improvement and development efforts.

What are we looking for in a Program
Director?

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited university AND one (1) year of experience working with the target
  • Associate degree in a human service field from an accredited school AND one (1) year of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth.
OR

  • High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience.
  • Experience supervising/managing in a homebased or Wraparound_ _program is preferred.
  • Experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs and preferably a youth with mental health needs.
  • Must have experience working collaboratively with state agencies, consumer advocacy groups, and/or behavioral health outpatient facilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
