    Description

    We are looking for an Assistant Project Superintendent to join our renowned and rapidly growing client, a General Contractor with a focus in Complex Commercial / Industrial projects. They have won multiple projects in the Dallas - Fort Worth areas within Industrial Warehousing Facilities and are in need of an Assistant Project Superintendent to help manage the ongoing success. The ideal candidate is someone early on in their career who is motivated to find a path into construction management for Commercial / Industrial based projects.

    This is a Direct Hire opportunity, Salaried + Annual Bonus. Field based position and travel within the Dallas-Fort Worth region is required.

    Job Scope and Essential Functions

    The Assistant Project Superintendent (APS) has the responsibility for on-site project support to the Project Superintendent and building team including safety protocols, schedules, and project documentation.

    Responsibilities:


    • Exhibits personal behavior that demonstrates commitment to safety


    • Works collaboratively with all building partners including owner, architect, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers


    • Assists with all daily, weekly and monthly reports (daily log, THA, weekly report, etc.)


    • Maintain project schedule updates and logistics plans


    • Follow QA/QC site processes


    • Attend and participate in owner and subcontractor meetings


    • Assist with obtaining all necessary governmental agency and utility company's approvals, permits and inspections


    • Coordination of assigned trades on site


    • Assist with preparing and tracking completion of punchlist and closeout documents


    • Actively participate in EOS L10 meetings and complete quarterly rocks

    Qualifications:


    • OSHA 30 Hour


    • CPR/AED/BBP and First Aid training


    • 2+ years field-related duties

    Technology Skills:


    • Microsoft Office Suite


    • Microsoft Project


    • Procore


    • Bluebeam


    • Drone (FAA certification and flight management)

    Physical Demands: is capable of driving short and long distances or flying to project sites across the country, capable of walking project sites that may include climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolding, suspended staging and varying heights. Must be able to work in varying weather conditions. Travel to project assignments as necessary (temporary occupancy near assigned project sites).

    Working Conditions: 95% field environment and 5% office environment
