Position Summary:

We are looking for a
Quality Manager.

This position manages all aspects of the Division's Quality Management System for successful, annual recertification and ensures the continual improvement of its processes, procedures, work instructions and forms.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure ISO 9001 level quality program is operating throughout the Division
  • Ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements
  • Remove obstacles impacting quality of product and systems
  • Conduct internal audits on products, processes, procedures and report results
  • Identify and investigating customer complaints
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture
  • Measure and report KPI's
  • Track Division nonconformances and provide reporting, using the 8D Method
  • Measures and reviews quality trends based on collected quantitative data and interactions with quality control inspectors and operations personnel
  • Develop, motivate, mentor, and coach employees throughout the Division
  • Work with national Quality Team members to provide continual improvements
  • Works with all levels of the Division to meet performance goals
  • Contribute data and reports for Management Meeting
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
  • Certified, preferred
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, required
  • Quality Engineer or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred
  • Experience implementing and continuously improving a multisite QMS
  • Strong Continuous Improvement background (Lean, Six Sigma, TOC)

Work Environment

  • Must be able to sit at a desk or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • In office, in shop, between offices in region and at vendor locations
  • Must be able to traverse the production facility
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a permanent, full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
