Medical Assistant (MA) - Manchester - PART TIME 24 HOURS WEEKLY.


Manchester Urology Associates in Manchester, New Hampshire is hiring a Medical Assistant (MA) to work in a multidisciplinary environment which will require exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, clinical and administrative staffs.

Manchester Urology specializes in diseases and complications related to the urinary tract, which includes the kidneys, urethra and bladder


Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervising of Physicians and Nurse Practitioner performs a variety of clinical support duties

Interviews patient and documents all required information into EPIC *EHR

Assists physician with exams and office procedures.

Maintains efficient and appropriate patient flow in and out of exam rooms due to COVID-19

Processes clinical specimens and completes documentation and reporting

Strong human relation skills to interact effectively and collaborate with others in difficult situations are required

Must be able to work stressful situations and deal with human discomfort, because urinary issues can be accompanied by significant pain

Ability to effectively handle challenging situations

Ability to function in high volume patient flow

Ability to balance multiple priorities

Knowledge of Epic preferred but not required

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

MUST HAVE PRIOR HOSPITAL OR CLINICAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE - IF YOU HAVE NO PRIOR CLINICAL EXPERIENCE, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY

A minimum of one-year prior Medical Assistant experience required

Prior knowledge of Epic preferred but not required
