Position Summary:


Our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Principal Analyst for IT Globe Controlling.

This role offers full-time onsite work with relocation assistance provided. As the Principal Analyst, you will lead the optimization of finance strategies, focusing on SAP FICO expertise.

You will spearhead the configuration, architecture, and development of SAP and related systems, collaborating closely with the global business finance team to define best practices.


  • Lead requirements gathering, analysis, design, and implementation of projects and enhancements, providing technical specifications for FICO configuration, custom coding/ABAP, and interface development.
  • Lead crossfunctional FICO projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and deliverables by fostering collaboration across disciplines.
  • Provide IT leadership for financerelated processes, systems, and procedures, managing small to largescale projects involving SAP FICO and other functional areas.
  • Spearhead configuration activities within the SAP ERP FI/CO module, including Material Ledger, Product Costing (PCC), General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Profitability Analysis, Asset Accounting, and Project Systems/Investment Management.
  • Mentor and consult internal teams on SAP FICO matters, fostering knowledge transfer and continuous improvement in collaboration with business finance stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of direct technical experience with SAP FICO modules, including configuration, customization, and operational support.
  • 10+ years of handson experience implementing and supporting SAP Material Ledger and Actual Costing, with expertise in Group Valuation.
  • 5+ years of project management experience or team leadership in SAP systems implementation and support.
  • Proficiency in standard SAP solutions within FICO and customer functions, with comprehensive knowledge of configuration and customization in these areas.
  • Domain expertise in multiple finance areas such as Manufacturing finance, FA, FP&A, AP, AR, and Treasury.
  • Handson experience with fixed asset accounting, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), profit center accounting, and integration between SAP modules (FI-SD, FI-MM, FI-PP) and intercompany accounting.
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written), with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders.
  • Experience with off/onshore models and virtual teams, collaborating with global IT and business team members.
  • Conceptual and analytical thinker, proficient in extracting, analyzing, and documenting complex business and technical requirements/strategies.
