JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

A Penn State federal grant seeks to hire a part-time essay reader for the 2024 academic year. Applications will be reviewed in April. Contact Roy Clariana (grant PI) at with questions regarding this position.


The essay reader will be assigned to read and rate de-identified 300-word essays on 4 topics in undergraduate-level architectural engineering, this work can be done virtually.

The position pays $20 per hour.


Requirements and qualifications:

The essay readers need a background in undergraduate-level architectural engineering, graduate-level students are preferred.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:


Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
