- Demonstrate strong understanding of client's business, products, performance, and tax accounting policies
- Prepare tax compliance, checking, classifying, and compiling information within a previously defined framework
- Arrange claims on taxable income, deductible expenses, reliefs, and allowances; maintain flexibility by adapting effectively when dealing with different tasks, responsibilities, people, and environments
- Manage an account load of approximately 1,000 to 2,000 fiduciary and agency accounts
- Support senior associate/management in work assignments and develop, motivate, and train less experienced staff members
- Develop industry specific knowledge and update skills on tax matters
- Minimum five years of recent public accounting and/or trust tax experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Licensed CPA, JD/LLM or EA, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
- Experience with MS Office applications
- Must be able to meet challenging client requirements and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, writing and research abilities
