    KLR is a Top 100 Accounting Firm and one of the fastest growing professional services firms in New England.

    Due to growth, we are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager based remotely, or out of any of our offices in Massachusetts or Rhode Island, on a flexible hybrid basis.

    Job Responsibilities
    Serve as client's trusted advisor, demonstrate knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and team
    Review corporate tax returns, and assist in preparation of larger highly complex returns
    Preparation and review of corporate tax provisions, ASC 740
    Knowledge of corporate foreign tax compliance (Forms 5471, 5472's, GILTI)
    Act as a resource for tax staff and senior tax accountants.
    Perform tax research on related client issues.
    Become involved in tax planning for pass-through business clients and the individual taxpayer.
    Prepare BNA projections and become involved in planning for less complex clients.
    Analyze IRS notices and drafts responses.
    Delegate work to tax staff and senior tax accountants and supervises work.
    Participate in tax department administrative projects.
    Act as director-in-charge for personal tax return clients.
    Act as key client contact person for smaller engagements.
    Contribute to the client service team by producing quality work with quick turnaround and attentive service.

    Job Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in accounting
    Master's degree in Taxation or related field preferred
    6+ years of accounting experience prior experience in public accounting
    CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), is required
    Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing, both internally and externally
    Demonstrated project management skills
    Proficient use of applicable technology (ProFX Engagement and Axcess knowledge a plus)
