Position Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse

  • Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members.
Medical Office Assistant

  • This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties.

Office Location and Hours
Shenandoah Community Health Center.

The general office hours (up to 29 hours per week for this position) per diem:

Monday: 8:00am-4:30pm

Tuesday: 10:00am-6:30pm

Wednesday: 8:00am-4:30pm

Thursday: 8:00am-4:30pm

Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm


NO WEEKENDS

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing and two years' experience in a clinical setting preferred
OR

  • Graduate of an approved school Medical Assistant and/or two years' experience in a clinical setting

Compensation
Minimum start is $17.00 per hour (Medical Assistant), $20 (Licensed Practical Nurse). PHN recognizes experience, education, and site location when determining wage.
