Description

Responsibilities:


Reporting to the Security Supervisor, and collaborating with other Security Staff, the Security Officer supports the health system's efforts to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, students, and visitors.

The officer assists all individuals in understanding and conveniently utilizing Hospital facilities.

The officer provides a first response to emergency situations, and coordinates with external emergency management, law enforcement and fire agencies.

Hours: 7am-3:30pm/Rotating weekends and holidays required

Qualifications:

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • OR
  • GED
  • OR
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education

Experience

  • Relevant Experience

Certification and Licensure

  • Current Valid Driver's License
  • BLS Certification

Required Skills:


  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Prepare & Give Presentations
