About Us:
The office of Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal is dedicated to serving the constituents of the 47th Senate District.

As the constituent services manager with a background in social work, you would play a crucial role in assisting constituents navigate government services and advocating for their interests.


Responsibilities:

Constituent Assistance: Provide direct assistance to constituents in navigating government agencies, programs, and services at the local and state level. This includes addressing concerns related to housing, healthcare, social services, and other relevant issues.

Case Management: Manage a caseload of constituent cases, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of inquiries and concerns. Keep detailed records of interactions and outcomes to track progress and identify trends.

Community Outreach: Engage with community members through outreach events and meetings to provide services and information on resources. Gather feedback on community needs and priorities through community engagement.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the Senator's staff to coordinate constituent services and support the overall goals and initiatives of the office. Additionally, will collaborate with colleagues at other levels of government and in relevant local community organizations.


Qualifications:


  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York preferred.
  • Previous experience in constituent services, social services, advocacy, or community organizing is highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage and track multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal government structure, processes, and resources; or commitment to learning.

Benefits:

Salary range from $55,000 to $65,000.

The NYS Senate provides opportunities for professional development and advancement.

The work schedule will include one remote day a week.

$55, $65,000.00 per year
