Apprenticeship as Interior Decorator (m/f/d) in Petersburg


During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to sew and install curtains in our sewing studio using various small and large machines.

You will also be trained in the use of electric saws, drills, and screwdrivers for the preparation and installation of curtain systems.

Decorating curtains is also part of the training. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to work in many different and often beautiful homes.


YOUR TASKS DURING THE APPRENTICESHIP:

  • Customer consultation in the store and at the customer's location
  • Design, production, and installation of curtains and decorative fabrics with corresponding fixtures
  • Installation of privacy and sun protection systems
  • Textile wall coverings and wallpapering
  • Refurbishment and repair of upholstered furniture
  • Preparation of quotes and invoices
  • Taking measurements at the customer's location

THE FOLLOWING BASICS ARE REQUIRED:

  • Manual dexterity and artistic talent
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of customer service
  • Creativity and an eye for colors and patterns
  • Completion of secondary school
  • Serviceoriented and flexible
  • Valid driver's license (Class B) or currently in the process of obtaining one
