FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

OVERVIEW:

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the financial records of Vanguard MSO and will handle all aspects of accounting for the company, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and maintenance of financial records to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

In addition, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will;

  • Monitor daytoday financial operations within the company.
  • Maintain general ledger.
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and wire transfers.
  • Generate monthly financial statements and prepare and/or review all expense reports for accuracy and proper expense disclosure.
  • Manage monthly billings and reconciliations.
  • Prepare/process monthly and quarterly operating, business, and payroll taxes.
  • Generate reports including quarterly reports, budget forecasting reports, profit/loss reports
  • Assist with the annual budget and audit process.
  • Maintain financial document retention files.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

NECESSARY SKILLS:


  • Advanced understanding of GAAP principles
  • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
  • Knowledge and experience in Quickbooks
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of local, State, and Federal laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines as required

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting: strongly preferred
years' experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports
years' experience working in nonprofit sector: strongly preferred

From $60,000.00 per year
