Role Overview:

As a Handyman at GG Homes, you will be responsible for a variety of repair and maintenance tasks in both residential and commercial properties.

Your precision, independence, and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the success and functionality of our properties. This position is full-time and eligible for overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

General Repairs: Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.

Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Perform routine maintenance on building systems, equipment, and fixtures.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all repair and maintenance work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Problem-Solving: Diagnose problems and find effective solutions to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repair activities, including materials used and work completed.

Communication: Liaise with property managers, residents, and other team members to coordinate repair schedules and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar maintenance role.
Strong knowledge of general repair and maintenance practices across various trades.
Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools effectively and safely.
Solid understanding of safety procedures and guidelines related to repair and maintenance work.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required.
Availability to work oncall and overtime as needed.
Must be available 8am to 5pm or 7am to 4pm.
