Blue Sea Educational Consulting Inc. is currently seeking
Home Instructors with a
NYS ESL and/or TESOL Certification. Home Instruction Teachers are responsible for providing instruction to students based on their Individualized Educational Plan.


Education and Experience:


  • Must have a NYS ESL and/or TESOL Certification
  • Thorough knowledge of students who have divergent learning, mental, emotional or physical abilities
  • Demonstrate instruction which is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of diverse learners
  • Developing and adapting individualized teaching methods that are suitable for each student according to their IEP

Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate student's strengths and weaknesses to facilitate instruction which target the goals from the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
  • Schedule, provide and plan special education services for children through a variety of educational techniques and materials
  • Record and report on student progress, and update goals annually
  • Prepare progress reports and IEPs in a timely fashion
  • Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team

$ $60.00 per hour
