**Description**
**A day in the life as a Lending Support Specialist I:**
You will be responsible for completing back-office lending functions including preparing retail loan and mortgage documentation, reviewing legal documentation, funding of mortgage deals as well as reviewing security registrations.
You will prepare and analyze lending reports (monthly, quarterly, annually etc.)
You will ensure all assigned lending activities are compliant with legislation, regulations, policy, and procedures
You will ensure the accurate, timely, and thorough processing of retail loan/mortgage documentation, funding, renewals, reporting, and packaging
You will support the process of continuous improvement of all processes specific to the registration, maintenance, and preparation of collateral securities, loan processing, and funding
You will accurately process entries for new and existing commercial, equipment, and retail loans while handling documentation control and reporting
**What you will bring to the table:**
Post-secondary education such as a Business/Office Administration diploma is preferred
Two to four years financial industry experience is expected with a focus on lending administration
A combination of education and experience may be considered
