Grouse Hunt Farms is seeking a meticulous Production Batch Coordinator to oversee all ingredient and packaging requirements for daily production runs at our Tamaqua, PA facility.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, adept at task prioritization, and skilled in maintaining accurate inventory records.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:- Pulling, weighing & batching ingredients for production runs with precision
- Conducting regular ingredient inventories to prevent shortages
- Ensuring precise batching of all items
- Reporting issues or deficiencies promptly
- Recording all utilized lot codes meticulously
- Prioritizing tasks to meet batching schedules
- Ensuring batched items meet quality standards
- Active participation in team meetings
- Collaboration with Management on ingredient-related matters
- Effective communication with employees & management
- Minimum 2 years experience in food processing
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in English for reading ingredient names & product codes
- Strong record-keeping abilities
- Effective interaction with all organizational levels
- Accountability, accuracy and efficiency in multitasking
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish & English desirable
