Where you'll work:


This is a fully remote opportunity where you will have the flexibility to work from home in support of Epsilon's IRS customer.


Our Customer's Mission:


Epsilon is partnered with the IRS to assist them in the development, delivery, and operation of information technology solutions critical to key cybersecurity initiatives.

Epsilon's team members support SharePoint migration, development, management, and administration; specifically, tasks associated with the integration and migration of the IRS managed SharePoint environment from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint in Microsoft 365.


An average day:


The Project Manager | SharePoint will be overseeing six Cyber/SharePoint developers to ensure goals, objectives and milestones are being met on time while exceeding the expectations of the customer.

The Cyber SharePoint team is responsible for development, testing, administration, and support of all IRS Cyber SharePoint sites.


In this position you will:

  • Manage and oversee the migration from Physical SharePoint to SharePoint Online. The SharePoint Manager will be involved with following up with the team to make sure members are meeting their objectives.
  • Work with SharePoint team and IRS Stakeholders to design, create and modify SharePoint Online sites.
  • Address problems, concerns, or updates that customers want to their SharePoint site to provide.
  • Communicate with the team and customer on a daily basis to assure SharePoint maintenance and support needs are being met.
  • Work with the team to identify and resolve SharePoint server specific items (e.g., administration, user management, identities, roles, and permissions)
  • Support business operations dependent upon SharePoint 2013 functionality (e.g., forms, lists, logic, code, webparts, users/permissions, views, reports, customizations, etc.)
  • Proactively develop and maintain strong knowledge of SharePoint systems and their related components. Work closely with the team to make recommendations to improve the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of the systems are appropriate. Leverage technology to automate manual tasks and seeks to improve efficiency wherever practicable and appropriate.
  • Work closely with the SharePoint team to identify and make recommendations for process improvements.

Basic Qualifications:


  • 35 years of experience in Project Management, preferably technical or IT related
  • Experience managing IT professionals
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint; specifically with designing, creating and modifying SharePoint Online sites.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills

Other Requirements:


  • Must attend meetings with leadership and stakeholders via Microsoft Teams
  • Must be able to pass federal background investigation and obtain a Public Trust
