Description
This position is a dual role, responsible for tasks related to CME and Medical Staff compliance.


CME Coordinator

This position is responsible for assuring that the Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program provides high quality, evidence-based CME activities for hospital-based and community providers.

It manages all aspects of the Program's accreditation through MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, by ensuring compliance with all the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Standards.


Medical Staff Compliance Coordinator

This position is also responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards related to the medical staff, including those set by NCQA, the Joint Commission, CMS, and state health department.

It conducts or coordinates audits and inspections to ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and professional standards


Required:

Bachelor of Science in a science field

Experience in literature searches.

Ability to communicate effectively with physician literature request needs.
