We are seeking a hard working, professional candidate with at least three-years experience in a law firm performing the following:Minimum 3 years experience, but 5 or more is preferred in a legal accounting department;Responsible for the timely formation and distribution of all client invoices on a monthly basis;Ensure that all advanced costs & expenses that are reimbursable to the Firm are accurately billed to clients in a timely manner;Coordinate and work with others within firm to ensure the billing process is as smooth as possible;Responsible for the daily management of the Firm's Accounts Receivable, which may including multiple follow up calls and emails as necessary;Communicate effectively with all Firm Partners & the Finance Manager, when and if there is a problem with collections;Reports directly to Finance Manager.

Requirements

Experience in legal billing and accounting required

Ability to adapt to last minute requests

Knowledge in QuickBooks is a plus

Experience in Tabs3 and ProLaw preferred, but other billing software will be consideredYear-end bonus, profit sharing, and 401(k); dental, vision and health insurance (with 50% contribution)#J-18808-Ljbffr
