- Provide on-site phlebotomy services to employees at various events
- Drive to designated off-site locations for the events
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens
- Verify patient information and ensure accurate labeling of specimens
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions related to the phlebotomy process
- Properly handle and transport specimens to designated laboratory facilities for analysis
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Collaborate with the team to coordinate phlebotomy services efficiently
- Monitor inventory of phlebotomy supplies and equipment, notifying management of any shortages or equipment malfunctions
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices and industry standards
- Additional duties as assigned
- CA Phlebotomy Certification
- CA Driver's License (minimum of 2 years) with an acceptable driving record
- Strong understanding of venipuncture techniques and blood collection procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in EMS, healthcare, or a hospital setting preferred

Position Overview:
As a Phlebotomist, you will be providing on-site phlebotomy services at various events, such Wellness Events and New Hire Orientation, in Orange County to Orange County employees. You will start your shift by collecting supplies and a company vehicle in Anaheim and driving to the designated off-site location of the event. At the event, you will be performing phlebotomy services to employees at the event. Your role will involve collecting blood samples from participants and maintaining strict adherence to safety and station protocols. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of blood collection procedures at the events.
