    Description

    Aveanna Healthcare, the leading provider of pediatric home healthcare services, is looking for caring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to deliver skilled nursing care to patients at home. Join a team of 30,000 caregivers trusted by over 33,000 families.

    • Location: Milpitas, CA
    • Position: Full-time
    • Shift: 8AM-8PM
    • Compensation Range: $35-40 per hour*
    • *Minimum 1 year experience required

    Job Summary:
    The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) will provide skilled nursing care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following individual care plans and physician instructions while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

    • Key Responsibilities:
      • Deliver quality patient care as prescribed by physicians
      • Monitor patient condition and report changes
      • Document all care activities promptly
      • Participate in care planning
      • Take necessary actions based on assessments
      • Recognize and address patient needs
      • Adhere to Aveanna policies and regulations
      • Provide patient and family education
      • Maintain competency through education and training
    • Requirements:
      • Graduate from an accredited nursing school
      • Active state LVN license
      • Current CPR certification
      • Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation
      • State-specific experience requirements
    • Preferences:
      • At least 6 months of recent clinical nursing experience
      • Home health experience
    • Skills:
      • Detail-oriented
      • Time management
      • Problem-solving and communication
      • Organizational skills
    • Physical Requirements:
      • Ability to communicate effectively in English
      • Travel capability
      • Lift up to 50 pounds
      • Reposition patients and equipment
      • Physical agility for various tasks
      • Respond to emergencies

      • Ability to work in diverse environments
      • Possible exposure to health risks
