Warehouse Associate - Tempe, United States - Biomedical Research Laboratories

Description

We are looking for a capable Warehouse Associate to support our company's warehouse operations. You will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and you will perform various warehouse activities.


Responsibilities:

• Check, Process (pick), package (envelope, box or palletize) and ship orders accurately
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products for defects and damages
• Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
• Receive, unload and store/organize (stack or palletize) incoming inventory/materials appropriately
• Oversees inventory (counts) and maintains (orders when needed) required materials in warehouse locations, to include shelf life surveillance;
• Operate power lifts, hand trucks, carts and other material handling equipment in performing warehousing duties; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials;
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Organize warehouse space and keep clean

Requirements:

• Prior warehouse experience (preferred, but not required)
• Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
• Team player with organizational skills
• Ability to lift or move heavy products
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;

Pay:
$ $18.50 per hour
