At the earliest possible date, on behalf of my client company, a renowned travel provider in Magdeburg, I am looking for a commercial employee (m/f/d) for advising and supporting customers on travel topics for a permanent position.


Responsibilities:

As an advisor:


  • You work together with the customer to plan travel destinations according to their preferences (in writing and by phone)
  • You handle customer requests and bookings
  • You create travel offers and present them by phone and email
  • You contribute your experience to the internal optimization of processes

Or as a service employee:


  • 60% written communication (chat, email), 40% phone calls
  • You support existing customers with any questions regarding their booked trips
  • You process change requests for booked trips (e.g. departure airport, personal data, etc.)
  • You handle complaints
  • You correspond with tour operators
  • You monitor the booking process

Qualifications:

  • Ideally, a background in tourism or alternatively, experience in customer service
  • Open to career changers with a passion for the topic and a willingness to learn
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Proficient in common computer applications
  • Willingness to work in shifts (3 shifts between 7:30 am 11:00 pm) / All late shifts and weekend shifts can be covered from home office
